This area is beginning to see some overflow from Oldham County as the expansion of Louisville continues moving eastward. Land prices are generally cheaper than Oldham County, and its proximity to Frankfort (the capitol of Kentucky) and to Louisville makes it an attractive option for persons that would like to be near either city.
