The 38th Jeffersontown Gaslight Festival kicks off Sunday September 9, 2007 and lasts the entire week until Sunday September 16, 2007.

The first event to kick off the celebration is a 5k run/walk affectionately called Thunder Run to reflect the Kentucky Derby Celebration Thunder Over Louisville, and the last event for the week is a pipe smoking contest.

Other fun activities include a cornhole tournament, a parade, a balloon glow, and an arts & crafts festival.

Its a fun time for all ages and I highly encourage everyone to make an effort to attend this year’s Jtown KY Gaslight Festival 2007!
