As always, we like to publish the public record of the Shelbyville KY real estate transfers just so we keep our eyes on the pulse of the market.  This week, we are publishing the records for through 2-8-2008.  If you look at the numbers, most of the properties are in the moderate price range, with most values being under $200,000.  There is 1 anomaly with a higher value that would place it more in the luxury real estate area at first glance, with a transfer of almost $1.1 million - but upon closer examination, you will see that it it was sold to a new home development company, so its appears its going to be another housing community of some sort.

Final analysis from looking at the transfers indicates that the transaction average, and number of transactions have slowed some for this week.  Hopefully it was just a pause in the market that will not cause any long term effects.

Anyway, thats all that transferred this week, so its was a fairly slow market which hopefully will pick back up this coming week.  And hopefully we’ll see some higher values start picking up along with more numbers of transfers.
